BIOGRAPHY
SERVING THE VICTIMS OF CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA
Practicing law has allowed Wes Allison to marry his
passions for digging up facts and telling stories with
helping his clients pursue justice against powerful
institutions.
Before practicing law, Wes spent 18 years as a
journalist, digging deep to bring transparency and
accountability to all levels of government and other
large organizations. The recipient of numerous state and national
reporting awards, Wes covered local South Carolina politics,
government, and crime before moving on to write about
medicine, national politics, Congress, and the White
House.
He has also covered some of our nation's biggest stories
of the past two decades, including the war in Iraq,
where he was embedded with an infantry unit of the 101st
Airborne Division. His series about the politics of
embryonic stem cell research earned the Scripps Howard
Foundation's National Journalism Award for Washington
coverage.
Now Wes puts his investigative and story-telling skills
to work for clients who have suffered serious personal
injury from medical malpractice, dental malpractice, trucking accidents, motor vehicle
collisions, abuse, and neglect. He is licensed in the
federal vaccine injury claims court, and thus able to
handle claims arising from those rare instances when
someone has a serious reaction to a vaccine.
Wes also represents families and small businesses in
insurance and contractual disputes.
Every case is unique, and Attorney Wes Allison of the
Kahn Law Firm, LLP takes the time and effort to mine the
facts upfront, so he can carefully evaluate your
potential claim. Focusing on the facts first often
allows him to resolve a claim before filing a lawsuit.
Wes lives in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., with his wife, Lisa,
and their two boys. The Allisons are parishioners at
Christ Our King Catholic Church, and Wes volunteers with
Boy Scout Troop 59, as well as Christ Our King-Stella
Maris School.
The Allison's enjoy fishing, boating, and hiking.
